Description

The Greek Student Film Festival and Competition returns for its 4th year in 2013, presenting another selection of imaginative films from local primary, secondary and tertiary students.

In order to be submitted the films must be a short fiction, animation or documentary film and must include the chosen theme. This year’s theme is ‘Greece is Light’ and is open to the interpretation and creativity of the students and teachers involved. The best entries will be screened as part of the 19th Greek Film Festival and three prizes will be awarded in each category.

This event is a collaborative effort between the Antipodes Festival, Greek Festival of Sydney, Education Office of the Consulate General of Greece in Melbourne with the support of the Victorian State Government’s Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

Categories
1. Primary school students in grades 3-6
2. Secondary school students in years 7-10
3. Secondary school students in years 11-Tertiary

Prizes
Three prizes will be awarded in each category:
1st prize $400
2nd prize $300
3rd prize $200
