The Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne & Victoria and Alphington Grammar School cordially invites you to a celebratory event on the occasion of Greek National Independence Day, Tuesday 29 March 11:00am at Alphington Grammar in the presence of the visiting parliamentarians of the Hellenic Parliament, Messrs Elias Karanikas, Ioannis Ziogas and Marios Salmas, the Consul General of the Hellenic Republic Ms Eleni Lainidou and representatives of Greek community organizations.
The program will include speeches, a musical program, traditional dance presentation and theatrical productions by Alphington Grammar Students. Free entry to the public. All welcome.
Established by the Greek Community of Melbourne and Victoria in 1989, the Alphington Grammar School has been designed from its inception to be academically strong, non-denominational and to embrace teaching excellence and cultural diversity.
