The new school year starts next month and the enrolments at the Greek Language and Culture Schools of the Greek Community of Melbourne are continuing.

With a reviewed curriculum, experienced and professional staff, it is expected that enrolments for the new school year will further increase as more parents entrust their children’s Greek language learning to GCM schools.

More than 1,200 students attended classes at the GCM’s schools last year which include courses of Greek as a second/primary language, courses of Ancient Greek for secondary school students and the Centre for Creative Drama and Arts. Also, there is strong interest in the Ancient and Modern Greek teaching programs for adults.

This school year the following GCM classes and educational programs will be offered:

1. Courses of Greek as a second language

• Toorak Campus (Monday): Toorak Primary School, Canterbury Rd, Toorak (Prep - Y.7, 3:30pm - 7:00pm)

• Malvern East: Holy Eucharist P.S., 1241 Dandenong Road Malvern East (Tuesday, Prep - Y.12, 5:00am) - 20:00pm

3. Centre for Creative Drama and Arts

• Alphington Grammar School (Thursday): Old Heidelberg Road, Alphington (5:00pm - 6:30 pm. Class hours may change depending on the age and the number of students.)
• Holy Trinity Anglican Church Hall (Wednesday): Corner of Dandenong and Warrigal Roads, Oakleigh, parking available.

4. Modern Greek and Ancient Greek Classes for Adults
Learn Modern Greek and Ancient Greek by attending our courses offered in 2016 and planned according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
