Modern Greek I (Introductory course)
An Introductory Modern Greek Language Course for adults with little or no prior knowledge of Modern Greek.
In this course students will acquire a basic knowledge of Modern Greek and by the end of the course they should be able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions, ask and give information about daily and basic needs and communicate rudimentarily in Greek.
Students will also be introduced to Greek culture. This basic knowledge will be the necessary threshold for those who wish to continue to the next level where subsequent follow-up courses will be offered.
Modern Greek II (Beginner level 2)
A Modern Greek Language Course for adults with a rudimentary knowledge of Modern Greek.
Through this course students will develop their reading and listening skills as well as their accuracy and fluency in speaking and writing.
By the end of the course they should be able to:
- understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance.
- communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters
- describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
- have a further appreciation of Modern Greek culture.
Post beginner-level 1 course is the necessary stepping-stone for those who wish to continue to the next level where subsequent follow-up courses will be offered.
Modern Greek III (post-beginner level 1)
A Modern Greek Language Course for adults with a foundational knowledge of Modern Greek.
Through this course students will develop their reading and listening skills as well as their accuracy and fluency in speaking and writing.
By the end of the course they should be able to:
- understand composite sentences with frequently used expressions as well as simple texts related to areas of most immediate relevance.
- better communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters
- better describe aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
- broaden their appreciation of Modern Greek culture.
Post beginner-level 2 course is the necessary stepping-stone for those who wish to continue to the next level where subsequent follow-up courses will be offered.
Modern Greek IV (post-beginner level 2)
A Modern Greek Language Course for adults having already a good basic knowledge of Modern Greek.
Through this course students will:
- Develop their accuracy and fluency in speaking and writing
- Develop their awareness of the writing process
- Develop their reading sub-skills
- Develop their listening sub-skills
By the end of the course they should be able to:
- understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in relationships, home country, habits, problems of everyday life, modern way of living, etc
- deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
- produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
- describe experiences, events, dreams & ambitions and briefly express opinions, likes and dislikes
- have a thorough appreciation of Modern Greek culture.
Modern Greek V (Intermediate level 1)
A Modern Greek Language Course for adults who wish to broaden and deepen their knowledge of Modern Greek.
Through this course students will continue developing:

- interact with native speakers more easily, accurately and spontaneously.

Ancient Greek classes for adults
An Ancient Greek Language Course for adults who wish to acquire the fundamentals of Classical Greek, a world heritage language spoken by the Athenians in the 5th and 4th centuries B.C. and used by the most famous ancient Greek writers, historians, philosophers and orators.
Students will be also introduced to Ancient Greek culture, which formed the basis of western civilisation.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.

Latin I
In this course students learn to read Latin and find their way into the history and culture of Ancient Rome. It covers the basics of Latin grammar and vocabulary. The emphasis is on reading Latin.
This course is for those who have no prior experience of studying this ancient language, but are attracted to the role it played in the evolution of the English language particularly its vocabulary. It will include a comprehensive study of English words and phrases that have their origins in Latin roots.
An understanding of Latin grammar, syntax, and vocabulary is gradually built up through the reading of texts relating to the culture and history of Ancient Rome.
