“Do something, man! Get laid!”

An uncomplicated and very human comedy, Totally Married wrestles with the much-debated phenomenon of the ‘seven year itch’, but does it Greek-style.

Thomas (Fanis Mouratidis) and Lily (Natalia Stylianou) are a couple aged in their mid-30s with a young son (Leonidas Leonidakos). They are also caught in a marriage rut. The sudden departure of their housekeeper sets off a chain of explosive situations, which leads Thomas to hire Irina (Anna Dimitrievitc) – a 23 year-old hooker with a heart of gold – to care for their son and home. Things soon go comically awry as Irina becomes more and more involved in the couple’s day-to-day life.

Will Thomas and Lily find their way to happy ever after? While their solution might be on the ‘cinematic’ side, Lily and Thomas’ circumstances are totally relatable and universally amusing regardless of audience nationality.

About the Director:
Born in Patras in 1964, Dimitris Indares studied Political Science and International Relations at Panteios University in Athens, and Film Directing at the Stavrakou School. His first feature film was Like a Prairie Cock in Wyoming (1995).
