"Musical Odyssey" is presenting a fundraising concert with a strong focus on songs covering the decades from rembetika to Theodorakis.
Our aim is to bring the community together to reflect on the generations of the Greek struggle against oppression, for peace, justice and freedom. Music has always been a powerful expression of the Greek people and it is a means of uniting our voices and sharing in the hope that is so desperately needed in Greece today.
The funds collected will go towards the purchase of medical supplies for the Hellenic Metropolitan Medical Centre.
The members of Musical Odyssey: Jacob Papadopoulos (bouzouki, tzoura), Christine Theodosaki (voice), Spiros Antoniades (percussion), Christos Kymon (guitar), together with Christos Themistokleous (bouzouki, baglama, voice) and Maria Papoutsis – Kotsiras will take us on a musical journey filled with inspiration, reflection and hope.
Join us on Sunday 15th of December, at the Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell Street, Coburg, at 4pm. For more information contact us on: 0415 112 450 or 9380 6816.
