We love short films and hope you love short films too. We are very excited the Greek Australian Short Film Festival (GASFF) has reached its fifth year and continues to grow. This year we are proud to announce the inclusion of an international program, with films from Greece, France, Cyprus and the USA. Once again, our Australian program showcases great work from local and interstate filmmakers.
The GASFF began as the Short Greek Film Festival in 2010 at the Loop Bar in Melbourne’s CBD. Ange Arabatzis and Jim Koutsoukos launched the festival to provide a platform for Greek Australian filmmakers to show their work, and to promote the short film medium to the Greek community.
We are thrilled to be collaborating with the Greek Film Festival for a second year. We invite you all to come along and be part of this diverse and creative experience. Top film prizes awarded in each catergory.
The Greek-Australian Short Film Festival Curatorial Team are:
Stella Dimadis, Jim Koutsoukos and Katerina Kotsonis
