Description
The series will be launched on Thursday 1 March at 7pm, at the Greek Community Centre by Dr. Christopher Gribbin, together with Ms. Eleni Lianidou, Consul General for Greece to Melbourne.
The Greek History and Culture seminars will delve into the long and fascinating history of Greece, and Greek culture in its various forms and stages, aspects of which have formed the foundation of western civilisation.
Subjects for 2012 will include Homer: The Iliad and The Odyssey, Mad Scientists or Superstars, Plato’s Republic, Drama and Tragedy and many more.
