Dina Amanatides has been a prolific writer within the Greek-Australian community for over fifty years. She has produced eighteen books of poetry and prose, all in the Greek language and has been included in numerous anthologies both here and in Greece.
This publication 'Scattered thoughts and poems' translated into the English language, seeks to acquaint the English speaking readership with the beauty of her work and the wide range of her thematic preoccupation. This work constitutes a fundamentally significant contribution to Australian letters.
