The Greek Community of Melbourne and Victoria in its endeavour to support newly arrived migrants from Greece has decided to initiate the establishment of a Greek Language School with its prime focus being those student whose first language is Greek.

The Language School will be staffed by teachers and educators from Greece, utilising educational recourses used in similar level classes in Greece, providing the opportunity for students to not only retain their language level but to expand their linguistic knowledge.

The Community’s Education Committee has created a survey in order to explore the number of interested families that wish to participate in the initiative in order reach a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of such a course as well as the days and hours of operation of the proposed classes.
