The Board of the Greek Community of Melbourne expresses its sincere condolences to the families who have recently lost beloved family members as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our hearts are with you.

We salute each and every one of these community members who have passed on. They had the strength and courage to migrate to a faraway land, prosper against many odds and build loving families. They are an irreplaceablepart of our history in the diaspora.

We send our love and strength to our community members who are currently fighting COVID-19. We know we speak on behalf of all the community when we wish them health, full recovery and back into the arms of their loved ones.

We want to thank the Greek-Australian community for responsibly abiding by the health and safety measures announced by the Victorian Government, such as wearing a mask when outdoors and not leaving home unless for the approved specific reasons.
