From the Greek bars to the grungy pubs of Fitzroy, Cats and the Canary are twisting swing music on its head.

Cats represent the stray and cunning character of the band, while the canary stands for its more delicate and settled face.

The band is made up of Greek and Australian born musicians, marrying cultures and music tastes with the universality of swing and rock.

Their first performance in last’s years Lonsdale Street Festival was met with raving reviews about the energy that Cats and the Canary bring on stage. Since then, the band blended its sound with more swing, jazz, rock elements and experimented with different genres of Greek music. 

Get on your dancing shoes and prepare for a musical trip along with songs of Manolis Chiiotis, Tonis Maroudas, Arleta, Mirela Pachou and Penny and The Swingin' Cats,  among others.
